Grazing peacefully side by side
As night draws near the field
Gleaning through the winter stubble
For new grass it might yield
So many mouths, so little grass
To find on winter days
And yet this field is rich and green,
A perfect place to graze.
So feast together, while you can
Upon the stubble hay
Feast and rest, for the time is nigh
When you must fly away….. ?
