Sulking

I hear the whispers in the night,

They tickle at my ear;

The little stars, in their delight,

Mock me with their cheer

While in its joy, the gibbous moon,

Smiles at every jibe.

So I suspect I’ll give in soon

And join the cheery tribe!

Tears and Rain

The world lies heavy on my heart

But I have spilt all of the tears
That I can spill today,

From sorrows that I cannot cure
From fears I can’t allay,

Updated Post

We've lost 3 more of our brave soldiers from the 1/17. The funerals for the first two are today. They've had boots on the ground for less than a month and IEDs have claimed 9 already. I've updated the original post with the new names. Please pray for them and their families.
