Dancing With Delight

I know that I should not be glad
When this world’s full of pain
And yet, I just can’t help myself,
I’m laughing once again!
 
I know that I should not be blithe
When this world’s full of woe
But here I am dancing again
Because I love it so!
 
I know that I should be subdued
From burdens life can bring
And yet, here I am full of joy,
Raising my voice to sing.
 
I know this may be out of line,
But joy is where I live,
For I am bursting with delight
At all life’s got to give!
