Going Green

I know, you'd never have thought it
You wonder, "What can it all mean?"
I've finally found a real reason
that compels me now to go Green.

The world is changing around me
and all of the things that I've seen
have shown me proof I was lacking.
So, I humbly admit that I'm Green

I stand here a true believer
in courage that's but rarely seen
to stand and defy the edict
That call's for the death of "The Green"

No! No! Please don't be mistaken,
Al Gore, to me, still seems obscene,
I stand with Freedom from Tyrants
In Iran, where the streets run Green!
