A moment of silence
while all the world burns
Korea is seething
while Iran's fate still churns;
The greatest republic
that this earth has produced
farms out it's commitments.
as the Uighurs are loosed.
Economies crumble
while our leadership plays
at golfing and travel
and New York getaways.
They dance around trouble,
they grow debts they won't pay,
as in Nero's fires
The world burns as they play.
