The whisper of a quiet dawn
Glowed softly just outside.
Nudging me to get up early,
And be still, just abide.
As the sun rose on high,
Casting its gold on the morning,
Before drifting on by.
I felt new peace rush in.
It was worth getting up early
To watch this day begin.
