Aging with Grace
Thus as she felt her beauty fade,
The tulip made of sunlight,
Rejoiced that in her humble bed
A fiery bulb bloomed bright.
A bulb so new that when she fell,
Abandoning all delight,
The bed would gleam still with the blaze
Of its ethereal light.
