Life In A Box
I live within a quiet box
That’s all windows and dreams.
It seems as if I am alive,
But nothings as it seems.
I watch the world pass by each day,
Like lights on passing cars,
Though they’re just past my window pane
They might as well be stars.
For I peer outside, longingly,
But I am trapped within
This little box with dreams of lives
That never quite begin.
That’s all windows and dreams.
It seems as if I am alive,
But nothings as it seems.
I watch the world pass by each day,
Like lights on passing cars,
Though they’re just past my window pane
They might as well be stars.
For I peer outside, longingly,
But I am trapped within
This little box with dreams of lives
That never quite begin.

Decay
Within the transience of life
We each must find a way
To live the fullness of our lives,
Delaying the decay.
We each must find a way
To live the fullness of our lives,
Delaying the decay.
The Dryad's Love
The Dryad saw him in her dreams
And called him to her side,For her love was a magic love,
That could not be denied.
But they were of two different worlds,
Worlds that tend to collide.
She knew her love would bring his death,
Which she could not abide,
And so she hid her face from him…
Her love she could not hide.
